Cancellation Policy

 

We understand how busy life can be and how last-minute changes can affect your daily routine. We do ask that you be mindful that The Hair Room is a busy salon that works strictly with an appointment scheduled and we rely on our clients turning up for their appointments. When you don’t attend your appointment or don’t give us enough notice that you can’t attend, that also means that we have turned away other clients because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service, which is not fair on other clients trying to secure an appointment. To ensure we can offer the best service to you and all the valued clients we have in place the following salon policies. We may use our discretion and waive or relax the policy where we deem necessary if the circumstance is an emergency. We greatly appreciate your support of our salon and we will promise to provide the utmost professional service to you with every visit.

 

Booking Fee

  • Card details are required on file to secure your booking. No fee will be deducted at the time of your booking, this is just to secure your appointment & will be debited only when a no-show or less than 24 hours notice is given for cancelling a booking. The team will contact you prior to deducting any payment & this is at the discretion of the stylist.
  • All clients will be sent a confirmation SMS two days before their appointment. Please be courteous enough to reply promptly.

 

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your appointment, in consideration for other clients who are wanting to secure an appointment we ask you to please do this as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in the forfeit of the booking fee. 100% of your booking will be deducted if less than 24 hours notice is given.

 

No-Shows

No Shows for an appointment will result in 100% of your service as a cancellation fee & you will be required to pay the full amount of your service that has been missed. Multiple no shows may require you to make full payment of your booked service to secure an appointment. 

 

Exceptions

We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences to prevent abuse of the policy. Our goal is to be preventative to protect and accommodate our valued clients.
